ARCHES Calligraphy Pad, 105 g/m² Cotton Paper, 20 Sheets

ARCHES calligraphy pad – paper for dip pen, Indian ink and ink

Cotton paper with a fine relief

The ARCHES calligraphy pad is a drawing and artists' pad for calligraphy, fine lettering and creative drawing techniques. The 105 g/m² paper is 75% cotton and has a pleasantly textured surface. The light laid lines from the dandy roll give the paper a subtle relief and a distinctive look that shows off lettering, lines and drawings well.

Surface sizing limits how much the paper absorbs. As a result, ink, Indian ink and paint do not bleed, while the fibres are held together well. This gives clean lettering, precise lines and a good finish, even after repeated corrections. The pad is particularly suited to work with dip pen, Indian ink and ink, but also to pencil, pastel, charcoal, red chalk, graphite, felt-tip pen and gouache, as well as creative techniques such as marbling, letterpress and blind embossing.

The 20 sheets are glued along the short side and can be removed cleanly. Thanks to its paper quality, the ARCHES calligraphy pad is suitable for artistic studies as well as finished works, calligraphy projects, illustrations and decorative paper crafts.
