Pilot Acroball Pure White Ballpoint Pen 1.0 mm (M), Refillable

Pilot Acroball Pure White – retractable, refillable ballpoint pen with oil-based ink

The Pilot Acroball Pure White Medium is a retractable ballpoint pen with a 1.0 mm tip for school, the office and everyday notes. According to Pilot, the oil-based ink gives a smooth writing feel, and the rubber grip gives you hold and control. Choose your colour from the options.

As the tip retracts with a push mechanism, you don't need a cap that could get lost. The ball is made of tungsten carbide, which is meant to ensure even writing. The pen is refillable, so you only replace the empty refill instead of throwing away the whole pen. The body is made of 77.4% recycled plastic, not counting the consumables.

Who is the 1.0 mm tip for?

Medium means a broader tip: it gives a bolder, smoothly gliding line and suits taking notes, signatures, lists and journals. For very small handwriting or fine lines, you are better off with a finer tip.

Changing the refill

When the refill is empty, unscrew the pen, take out the old refill and insert the new one. This way the body and grip are kept and less waste is produced.
