POSCA set of 20 acrylic paint markers – 20 opaque markers in three tip sizes

The POSCA 20 Acrylic Paint Marker Set DIY Colours contains 20 water-based acrylic markers in a tin. You can use them to decorate wood, metal, ceramic, textiles, plastic, paper and card. The colour is matt, opaque, lightfast and waterproof. It does not bleed through paper, so you can also write on and colour thinner sheets.

With three tip types, the set covers fine details and larger areas. It also includes instructions for three DIY projects so you can get started straight away. The tin keeps the pens together and is easy to take with you.

Which tip for which job?

The set contains three tip types. Which one you choose depends on how fine or how broad your work is:

• PC1MC extra fine (6 pens): for details, fine lines and small lettering
• PC3M fine (7 pens): for outlines, patterns and lettering in normal size
• PC5M medium (7 pens): for broader strokes and filling larger areas

Working with the markers

Shake the marker with the cap on and press the tip down several times on a surface until the colour flows. The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Let each layer dry before painting over it, otherwise the colour underneath will smudge. On dark surfaces, it is best to apply the opaque colour in two layers. On smooth surfaces such as glass, the colour can be wiped off. On wood, stone and other porous surfaces, it dries permanently. Close the pens again straight after use so the tips do not dry out.
