Clover Rapido Table Needle Threader – Threading Aid for Sewing Needles

With the Clover Table Needle Threader "Rapido" (art. no. 4074) you can thread hand sewing needles without having to line up the thread and the eye exactly. The threader stands on your work surface and suits needle sizes from 0.46 to 0.89 mm. Compared with the previous model, Clover has reworked the function and design: the end of the thread is now pulled all the way through, and appliqué needles can be threaded too. In 2024 the threader won the Red Dot Award.

How to thread

• Insert the needle and thread, hooking the thread right down to the bottom
• Press the button
• The thread is guided through the eye of the needle

Which needles fit

Clover recommends its own needles, because their oval eye sits in the same place and is the same size on every needle. With needles from other manufacturers, threading may not work, depending on the shape of the eye. According to Clover, unsuitable needles or threads can cause malfunctions or damage to the device. Choose the Rapido if you often thread hand sewing or appliqué needles. For embroidery needles Clover offers the threader 8611, and for darning needles the wool threader 3142.
